Giving your puppy a head start in life

Our Puppy program is designed to establish healthy habits, confidence, and structure during your puppy's most important learning stage. By focusing on proper socialization, routine, and foundational training, we help puppies develop the skills they need to grow into well-balanced adult dogs. Includes:

· Leash work and doorway manners
· Potty training and crate training
· Basic commands
· Impulse control

Our Basic program is designed for dogs that need a solid foundation in everyday obedience and household manners. Whether you're starting fresh or reinforcing existing skills, this program focuses on creating reliable behaviors through structure, repetition, and real-world practice. Our goal is to create clear communication between you and your dog while building habits that last long after the program is complete. Includes:

· Basic obedience and place work
· Potty and crate training
· Recall introduction
· Leash manners
· The 3D's: distance, duration, and distractions
· Structured daily routine

Changing behaviors, strengthening relationships

Our Rehab program is designed for dogs experiencing more complex behavioral challenges that require a comprehensive and individualized approach. Every rehabilitation plan is tailored to the dog's temperament, history, and specific needs, allowing our trainers to progress at the pace that best supports long-term success. Through structure, consistency, and real-world application, we help dogs develop healthier behaviors while giving owners the tools and guidance to maintain those results at home. Includes:

· Basic obedience foundations
· 3D's: distance, duration, distractions
· Behavioral rehabilitation and impulse control
· Structured routine, leash manners, crate training
4 to 8 weeks
3 follow-up sessions · 3 month window

Typically four weeks for mild concerns, five to six for more severe cases, up to eight for confirmed bites.

Our Custom program is designed for dogs and owners whose goals fall beyond our standard programs. Each experience is individually developed according to the dog, the desired outcome, and the expertise required. Custom training may include:

· Advanced or specialized skills
· Other carefully defined training goals

Program length, structure, eligibility, and included support are determined following a detailed consultation and assessment. Because Custom Fur depends on the availability of trainers with the appropriate specialization, certain services may only be offered in select areas.

Public Access

Calm, confident behavior wherever life takes you

Public Access / Manners is an advanced training program for companion and emotional-support dogs whose owners want them to navigate travel, pet-friendly public spaces, and unfamiliar environments with greater confidence and composure. This program is designed for dogs with a solid obedience foundation who are ready to advance their skills in public environments. Training is tailored to each dog's experience level and may incorporate appropriate training tools, including an e-collar, where suitable. Includes:

· Advanced leash manners in high-distraction environments
· Extended duration sit, down, and place
· Public access etiquette in pet-friendly locations
· Confidence around crowds, noises, and environmental distractions
· Greeting neutrality around people and dogs
· Settling quietly in restaurants, cafés, and waiting areas
3 follow-up sessions · 6 month window

‍This program is designed to improve your dog's manners, neutrality, and reliability in public settings. Completion of this program does not certify or qualify a dog as a Service Dog under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), nor does it grant public access rights where pets are otherwise prohibited. It is intended for dogs whose owners wish to achieve a high standard of public behavior and confidence in everyday environments.

For goals beyond the standard

Off-Leash

Greater freedom, clear communication, thoughtful control

This program is available only for dogs 6 months of age or older, as it utilizes remote collar (e-collar) training as the primary communication tool. Dogs must have a solid understanding of basic obedience before beginning off-leash training. Includes:

· Off-leash heel
· Emergency recall
· Recall across distance and distractions
· E-collar conditioning and communication
2 follow-up sessions · 4 month window
Assessment required before acceptance

Please Note:
Off-leash reliability is developed through structured e-collar communication, consistency, and continued practice after graduation. While we work toward a high level of reliability in a variety of environments, no dog should be considered 100% reliable in every situation. Ongoing reinforcement and responsible
decision-making by the owner remain essential to maintaining long-term success.
This program is not intended for dogs with significant anxiety, reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, or a bite history.

Priority Behavior

Target one or two specific behaviors without committing to a full comprehensive program

Our Priority Behavior Program is designed for dogs that have an otherwise solid foundation but need additional guidance with one or two specific behaviors. Rather than focusing on comprehensive obedience, this program allows owners to prioritize the skills that will make the biggest difference in everyday life.

Training shouldn't stop simply because life gets busy. Our Home Away From Home program is designed to provide continued structure, consistency, and reinforcement in a professional training environment, helping your dog maintain the skills they've already learned while continuing to practice them through guided daily routines.
Rather than stepping away from their training, dogs continue to work on their existing foundation through structured interactions, routine, and real-life application under the guidance of a professional trainer. It's an ideal option for owners who want their dog's progress maintained during travel, or whenever ongoing consistency is needed. Includes:

· Essential commands and behaviors
· Maintenance work
· Structured routine
· E-collar conditioning and communication

Why we encourage early follow-ups

The first weeks home are when new habits either take root or quietly slip. Booking your sessions early puts your trainer beside you at exactly the moment it matters most, so small setbacks stay small and good habits get to stay. The windows are short by design, as a gentle nudge to use them when they help the most.

How we train

Positive reinforcement is our core, always, and for most dogs it is everything they will ever need. Every dog is different though, and some communicate best with other tools as part of clear, fair guidance. If your trainer believes one would truly help yours, you will hear the how and the why first, and nothing is introduced without your agreement. The goal never changes: communication your dog understands, delivered with kindness.

Can programs be extended?
